Osasuna Returns to Training, Prepares for Match Against Real Sociedad
Team to Train Behind Closed Doors at El Sadar Tomorrow
Club Atlético Osasuna completed its second training session of the week in preparation for the home match against Real Sociedad, scheduled for Saturday at 6:30 p.m. CET (5:30 p.m. GMT/12:30 p.m. ET). Today's session focused on rondos, attack-defense drills, and small-sided intrasquad games.
Midfielder Lucas Torró participated in part of the session as he continues his specific training, while midfielder Asier Osambela returned to the squad after his stint with Osasuna Promesas last Saturday. Absent from today's training were defender Valentín Rosier, midfielder Jon Moncayola, and forwards Iker Benito and Ante Budimir, all of whom are recovering from injuries. Forward Sheraldo Becker is currently on international duty with Suriname as the national team seeks qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Joining the first team for training today were Osasuna Promesas goalkeeper Dimitrios Stamatakis, defender Unai Santos, midfielder Mauro Echegoyan, and forwards Carlos Lumbreras and Aly Kall.
Tomorrow, the team will train behind closed doors at El Sadar. On Thursday, Los Rojillos will hold a hybrid training session, with the first part closed to the public, reopening at approximately 11:20 a.m. The final training session of the week will take place on Friday at 11 a.m.
